Breakfast Conversations....

This morning, we had a late breakfast, so David had already left for work and I was left to fend with 3 lunatics.  As breakfast progressed, so did a conversational topic that I wished had not entered our pleasant breakfast meal.  The kids started talking about how Isaac's bunny (killed by Hickory a few weeks ago) had probably turned to dirt.  I said it may have started to, but probably wasn't completely there yet, but was probably further along than would have been the case in a different climate.  Then Isaac was saying about how they should have given his bunny to the science class so they could study it.  (Mind you, this child cried for 30 minutes when he found out his bunny had died...how quickly he gets over his grief.  =P)  Then, Jadelyn, I believe, was saying how we should dig it up and check it out.  Now, I was just trying to enjoy a pleasant breakfast meal with these lunatics, and was getting grossed out.  So, I said, (and they probably knew what I was going to say before I said it 'cause I've said it before), "okay, lets talk about something different" or something to that effect.  And all three burst out laughing their heads off like I'd said the funniest thing ever.  I never know what humor will tickle them.  Here's to more pleasant meal conversations in the future....
